Kylee Cobb: Patriot Athlete of the Year

 

Every Monday means it is Patriot Family of Autos area Athlete of the Week.

This week's honoree is Copan senior softball player Kylee Cobb.

Cobb is a four-year starter for the Lady Hornets. She has played short stop, second and catcher. She has been the leadoff hitter for the past three years at Copan.

Cobb says she takes it upon herself to be a good leader because of her seniority. Cobb talks about she tries to beat a leader for Copan softball. 

Cobb is a three-sport athlete and a cheerleader. Playing basketball and track and field. She has not decided where she would like to go to college, but she knows she wants to be a nurse.

Cobb says nursing is in her family and that she has always had a dream of working in that profession. 

Cobb has a big family, with seven brothers and sisters from both sides of her family. She has several younger siblings and she says she enjoys being someone who her younger siblings can look up to. 

Cobb is a career .333 hitter.

Congrats to Cobb for being our Patriot Family of Autos athlete of the week. Copan lost to Oilton and Covington Douglas in its first two games of District playoff action this past weekend.
