Bartlesville softball continued its hot-streak toward the end of the 2020 regular season on Wednesday evening, as the Lady Bruins knocked off Union on the road in a district game, 15-5.

Bartlesville has now won 10 of its last 13 heading into the final week of the regular season. BHS has started to inch its way up the district standings, as well.

According to Lady Bruin head coach Kyle Minton, it has been about getting healthy. Bartlesville had some injuries at the beginning of the year, and are only at full strength recently.

The win over Union is a perfect example, Bartlesville lost to the Redskins at home on Aug. 18, 9-0, then rebounded for a 10-run win on Wednesday.

The Lady Bruins have a non-district game at home on Thursday against Owasso, then take on Stillwater for a double-header on Friday, which will wrap up its district schedule. Softball postseason begins the first week of October.
