Local Softball Update

 

Both of our smaller school softball teams left kicking in the OSSAA playoffs had their seasons end over the weekend.

Dewey came within an eyelash of winning its Regional, but the Lady Bulldoggers fell in a winner-take-all second title game against Hilldale 11-6 on Friday. Good finish for Dewey, which won three Regional games to have a chance.

Meanwhile Pawhuska lost in back-to-back games at Dale’s Super Regional on Friday to end its season.

Bartlesville High softball has its Regional starting on Wednesday at Ponca City. BHS will have one final tune-up against Claremore on Monday.

Meanwhile Bartlesville High volleyball will get its final OSSAA ranking this afternoon. BHS will await who comes to a Bartlesville Regional early next week.

BHS has its final regular season game at Booker T. on Monday evening.
