New Possible District for Bruin Football

 

Bartlesville High football knows its prospective new district for the 2020-2021 season, as the Oklahoma Football Coaches Association released its proposed districts for 6A over the weekend.

Bartlesville will stay on the east-side of 6A-II, but will have a few more trips to the west side of the state, if the district is approved.

The Bruins opponents in Bixby, Sand Springs, Ponca City, Booker T. Washington and Muskogee will stay the same.

The district will add Choctaw and Putnam City West. Sapulpa and Shawnee are making a drop down to 5A, which makes room for a couple more west-side schools into Class 6A-II.

Those districts will have to be approved by the OFBCA and the OSSAA before becoming finalized in January.
