Nowata Football Heads to Quapaw

 

Nowata football is looking to build off of their win over the Caney Valley Trojans on Friday into this week's matchup in Quapaw.

The Ironmen shut out the Trojans last week, 26-0, for their first win of the season.

Head coach Chance Juby praised his defense in the win.

Quapaw enters the contest 0-1 in district play, they lost their opener to Tonkawa last week, 63-14. Quapaw's lone win on the season is a 19-8 win over Commerce on Sept. 19.

Juby talked about Quapaw's offensive tendencies.

The Ironmen will kick things off in Quapaw on Friday night at 7 p.m.
