OKWU Earns Gold Distinction for Champion of Character
Earlier this week, Oklahoma Wesleyan was given an award as a Gold Star Institution from the NAIA as a Champion of Character.
To receive a gold distinction, schools are measured on various aspects of character promotion and training, while also having exceptional GPAs and little to none ejections during games.
OKWU was one of 13 schools in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference to receive a gold distinction, and were one of 112 schools that was named a Five Star Institution.
The KCAC as a conference was also named a Five-Star Conference for the 15th consecutive year.
