Donnie Bostwick wanted his Eagles to be battled tested on the road. OKWU will be after playing its third road game in five days at Bacone College in Muskogee on Wednesday night. The Eagles will likely fall from No. 7 in the next NAIA Coaches’ poll after dropping a Monday night battle against the College of the Ozarks.

So far the Eagles are 2-1 and will open up conference play on November 13 at Ottawa. The game against Bacone is the only one before their KCAC debut. OKWU played handful of exhibition games to help the young team get its feet under it early on. Head coach Donnie Bostwick says the growing process will continue into conference play.

Kaleb Stokes, a freshman out of Lincoln Christian has impressed early on as he has averaged 19.3 points per game and is hooting 66% from the floor. Bacone is 0-2 so far having lost both games to KCAC opponents in its early season.

You can listen to the broadcast on Sportstalk 1500 AM—99.1 FM KPGM. Coverage from Muskogee begins Wednesdaat at 5:45 p.m.
