OKWU Soccer has Stellar Start to Season

 

OKWU Men’s Soccer has had a stellar start to the season, sitting at 5-1-2 overall with wins in five of their last six matches. The Eagles are currently on a four-game winning streak as well, which includes a most recent 5-0 win against McPherson on Sep. 22.

For OKWU, this is a team that won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference last season with an 11-1 conference record and was bounced in round two of the NAIA postseason tournament.

As mentioned, the Eagles have had a stellar start to the season, and Head Coach Jamie Peterson talks about why.

Oklahoma Wesleyan will continue conference play on Wednesday when they head to Kansas City to take on a struggling Avila squad that sits at 2-6-1 overall, and 1-2-1 in conference.
