OU Tabs Porter Moser as New Men's Basketball Coach

Oklahoma has a new men’s basketball coach as the team announced that Porter Moser will be leaving Loyola-Chicago. Moser takes over after 10 season with the Ramblers. He led Loyola to the Sweet 16 this season and previously took the squad to the final four in 2018.
Reports state that Moser agreed to a six-year contract to lead the Sooners. Moser has a career record of 293-242. He previously coached at Illinois State and Arkansas-Little Rock. Moser also had a lengthy stint as an assistant at St. Louis.
Moser will step in for Lon Kruger who announced his retirement from coaching last week. Kruger won 195 games in eight seasons at the helm for OU.
