Several Eagles Named to All-American Teams

 

NAIA All-American Soccer teams were released this week and as expected several players from the Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s team were selected. The Eagles had four total players selected including, Stefan Cvetanovic and Stefan Lukic who were named to first team All-Americans. Defender Julio Belo was named a second team All-American. Goalkeeper Dusan Djordjev was named to third team.

The Eagles advanced to the Elite 8 of the NAIA National tournament this season. However, the team fell just short of consecutive final four buds after a loss in penalty kicks to Madonna, Michigan.

OKWU finished with a 20-4 record.
