Stretch Run for Bartlesville Hoops

Bartlesville High has had more changes to its basketball schedule, as the winter weather continues to wreak havoc on hoops across the area.

The Bruins game at Bixby scheduled for Thursday has been called off altogether. Meanwhile the final regular season game of the year at home against Muskogee, which was scheduled for Friday, has been moved to Monday (Feb. 22).

The game at Bruin Field House against the Roughers will officially be the last regular season games of the year.

Both BHS teams then move on to Regionals the next weekend.

BHS has gotten a few chances to get into the gym with optional practices, even with this winter weather, head coach Clent Stewart says he’s glad the administration has let his guys get some work in before playoffs next week.

The game on Monday against Muskogee will be the first in 20 days for the Lady Bruins (3-13), due to weather and some COVID-19 issues. The Bruin guys (5-14) will have been off for 15 days.
