Two Local Athletes Selected to OCA Football All-State
The Oklahoma Coaches Association released its all-state football selections on Tuesday and two local defensive standouts were among the finalists selected. Defensive end Lesharo Wildcat and corner back Dalton Hurd, both of Pawhuska were each selected to join the distinguished list.
At the end of the season, Coach Matt Hennesy talked about what those two players, in addition to the entire senior class, had meant to the growth of the Pawhuska football program.
Hominy quarterback Joe Overstreet and Oologah-Talala's Gabe Grazier were also selected. The all-state football game is set for Friday, July 29th at 7 p.m. A host site is still being determined.
