Two Wins for BHS Softball and Volleyball

 

Both Bartlesville High softball and volleyball were successful in their first contests of the season on Tuesday afternoon, as BHS began fall sports.

Lady Bruin softball topped Enid 5-1 in a district contest. Bartlesville got a good pitching performance from its ace Sydney Price.

Meanwhile Lady Bruin volleyball got a win over Sapulpa. Bartlesville swept the Lady Chieftains three sets to none, 25-13, 25-11 and 25-21.

Elsewhere across the area, in volleyball, Oklahoma Union fell to Oklahoma Bible three-sets to none.

In softball, Barnsdall fell to Woodland 17-0. And Dewey got two wins over Kansas, 18-4 and 9-3.

A few other games were rained out across the area. No high school sports today – a full schedule resumes tomorrow.
