WCS Battles Lomega in Class B Regionals

The Wesleyan Christian School boys’ basketball team is one of only a handful of teams in action this weekend after the cold-snap.

The Mustangs will take on Lomega at 8:00 on Saturday night in Agra in the Class B Regionals.

The game was postponed from Thursday until Saturday due to the new OSSAA playoff schedule, which was altered because of the winter weather.

CLASS B BRACKET

Wesleyan Christian is hoping for better results than a year ago, the Mustangs lost to this same team, by 29, in the same round of the postseason in 2020.

Head coach Kameron Nettleton talks about this year’s version of WCS basketball vs. last year’s.

Wesleyan Christian will advance to early next week regardless of whether it wins or loses against Lomega – however a victory would assure the Mustangs a spot in the Class B Area Tournament.

Wesleyan Christian won two games in Districts over this past weekend in order to get into the Regional round undefeated.
